bcsComplaining about the number of bowl games is passe – since we’re not going to see a real playoff anytime soon, what difference does it make if there are 17 games or 34, because it’s all arbitrary anyway.

Plus, for all the whining about obscure bowl games, we all usually wind up watching a few of them anyway, because, hey, football is football, and when there’s nothing else on, you can’t go wrong with the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

Chris and I are going to take a shot at picking all the bowl games this year because, let’s face it, we’re degenerate gamblers. Chris admits he doesn’t know a whole lot about the college game outside of the Pac-10, while I think I know a fair amount, but when it comes to Middle Tennessee State, I know nothing.

Let’s go bowling …
